STEEL CURTAIN
The curtain is comprised of 26 gauge hard grade 80 steel with properties that are more resilient to dings and dents. The design of the corrugation profile enhances the steel stiffness providing a stronger and more secure door.

PAINT FINISH
Our Siliconized Polyester paint finish provides up to a 20 year warranty against chalk and fade. With 20+ stocked colors, you are sure to find a color match.

RATCHET TENSIONING DEVICE
Our ratchet tensioning device supplied as standard equipment on our door offers a simpler method of tensioning while more accurately fine tuning all the springs on the door at the same time. There's no extra hardware required. Eight different positions on the tension wheel allow one to perfectly balance the door every time. There are no cotter pins required to hold the tension on the spring. You just simply click it.

RADIAL BALL BEARINGS
Unlike most of our competitors, we supply radial ball bearings at no additional cost. Some suppliers will furnish plastic bushings which over time, will squeak and require lubricants to silence the sound. Our permanently lubricated bearings require no maintenance and are guaranteed to last the entire life span of the door.
MAGNETIC STAINLESS STEEL LATCH
Our new patent pending mini-latch features a cover plate made from a heavier gauge of stainless steel than those supplied by our competition. In addition, the latch cover protects the slide from tampering by completely covering the slide with the exception of a tab used to operate the lock. To further secure the door, the latch's two inch throw with its magnetic properties can be incorporated with the new guide mounted security devices. This versatile design affords the ability for you to utilize padlocks, cylinder locks or both.
DEAD AXLE & TORQUE TUBE ASSEMBLY
This design, noted for its durability and smoother operation with commercial applications, has now been incorporated into the self storage door. The tube housing protects the springs and strengthens the axle. Eliminating axle push and shift that can occur with a live axle, the dead axle design allows for a straighter travel path of the door curtain in the guides. The biggest feature of this deign is that it affords the fine tuning or any spring adjustment to equally affect all springs on the door at the same time.
DOOR SPRINGS
Long trouble free door operation relies heavily on the life of the spring(s). Furnishing the most accurately balanced 15K cycle springs for each door size means stocking more spring sizes. We go to great length to stock a variety of sizes, storing them inside the axle and heavily greasing them as they are assembled.
GALVALUME BOTTOM BAR & BULB ASTRIGAL
Our acrylic coated galvalume bottom bar is stronger and more resilient to staining than an aluminum bottom bar. The galvalume indicates that it is a 20 year finish. In addition, the bulb astragal used on commercial doors is also used on our self storage doors providing a tighter seal on the floor.
DOOR STOPS
Our adjustable door stops are simple to install and prevent the curtain from over traveling the guide when raising the door.
PACKAGE PROTECTION AND SHIPPING
Doors stacked on top of each other in transit are going to shift... unless they can be packaged in a way to minimize the friction that occurs during that time. We haves found the way. We suspended each door individually in the crates. Whether they travel down the block or across the county, compaction damages, door abrasion and chatter marks are virtually eliminated.
INSTALLATION
